STATE OF  LOUISIANA

 

CITY OF MONROE                                                                           NO .  11,951     

 

The following Ordinance was introduced by  Ezernack           who moved for its adoption and was seconded by  Wilson                  :

AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING JAMES E. MAYO, MAYOR TO ENTER INTO A LEASE PURCHASE AGREEMENT WITH CHASE EQUIPMENT LEASING INC. FOR EQUIPMENT PURCHASES AND FURTHER PROVIDING WITH RESPECT  THERETO:

 

WHEREAS, the City of Monroe has determined that it is necessary to purchase capital equipment;

 

WHEREAS, Chase Equipment Leasing Inc. has presented a proposal for the lease purchase of said equipment, the terms and conditions being attached hereto as Exhibit "A".

 

NOW, THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Monroe, Louisiana, in legal session convened, that James E. Mayo, Mayor is hereby authorized to execute the attached Lease Purchase Agreement for capital equipment with Chase Equipment Leasing, Inc.

 

This Ordinance was INTRODUCED on the  27th day of  August          , 2019.

NOTICE PUBLISHED on  August 30th    , 2019.

This Ordinance having been submitted in writing, introduced, and published was then submitted to a final vote as a whole, the vote thereon being as follows:

AYES:            Echols, Ezernack, Woods & Wilson

NAYS:            None.

ABSENT:      Clark

And the Ordinance was declared ADOPTED on the  10th          day of  September    , 2019.
