CITY OF MONROE                                                                                NO.  11,916 

            The following Ordinance was introduced by   Wilson                   who moved for its adoption and was seconded by  Woods                  :

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 25 SECTION 25-64 ENTITLED “GENERAL FEES AND CHARGES” OF THE MONROE CITY CODE, AND FURTHER PROVIDING WITH RESPECT THERETO:

            WHEREAS, the City of Monroe has adopted Chapter 25 of the Monroe City Code titled Parks, Recreation and Boating; and

            WHEREAS, Section 25-64 of Chapter 25 entitled “General fees and charges” needs to be amended; and

NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of

Monroe, Louisiana, in legal session convened, that Chapter 25, Article VI, Section 25-64 of the Monroe City Code be amended as follows:

Sec. 25-64 – General fees and charges.

The schedule for general fees and charges for certain Monroe recreational facilities is hereby established as follows:

* Long-term rental fees consist of 4 consecutive Saturdays in a row. When a vendor books 4 or more events at one time and pays, then they get $10 off each days Daily Rental fee. *

** Any rentals received after Friday at 11:00 a.m. will be charged the last minute daily rental fee rate. **

Entire Riverwalk Complex

$350.00 up to 4 hours and $100.00 for each additional hour

 

This ordinance was INTRODUCED on the 22nd of January 2019.

NOTICE PUBLISHED on the  25th  day of  January           , 2019.

            This Ordinance having been submitted in writing, introduced and published was then submitted to a final vote as a whole, the vote thereon being as follows:

AYES:            Echols, Ezernack, Woods, Wilson & Clark

NAYS:            None.

ABSENT:       None.

And the Ordinance was declared ADOPTED on the  12th     day of  February        , 2019.
