Employment - Custodian Requirements

We accept applications throughout the year and positions are filled on an as needed basis. To be considered for hire by this Department you must successfully complete the following:

1. Must fill out a Non-Civil Service Application in full
2. Must be at least 21 years of age
3. High school Graduate or possess a valid equivalent certificate issued by the State Department of Education



4. Must have a valid Louisiana driver's license
5. Must have vision of 20/70 or better, corrected to 20/20 with normal color vision and depth perception
6. Good moral character
7. Pass a thorough background investigation
8. Pass a Physical Stress Evaluation
9. Pass a medical examination
